Fremont takes the stress out of enrolling in college by working with you every step of the way to determine your career goals and help you find a way to pay for school. If you have concerns about the affordability of college, our financial aid team will help you apply for grants and student loans to fund your education. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applying to school has never been easier. Below are admissions requirements to enroll in a higher education degree at Fremont College:

·       An initial interview with a Fremont College Admissions Representative

·       A high school diploma or equivalent (GED certificate)

·       A completed Fremont College Admissions Application and Enrollment Agreement

·       A letter of recommendation

·       An entrance essay

·       A passing score on the Paralegal program admissions test for paralegal applicants

·       An acceptance interview conducted by a designated school official

            Degree Completion Program

WHAT IS THE DEGREE COMPLETION PROGRAM?

The degree completion program is an alternative for students who didn’t finish college and want to go back to school to earn a bachelor’s degree in the quickest way possible.

HOW DOES THE DEGREE COMPLETION PROGRAM WORK?

Students can apply previously-earned college credits toward a bachelor’s degree. The program is open to returning Fremont College students, or those who attended another institution, who have already earned an associate degree.

WHICH PROGRAMS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE DEGREE COMPLETION PROGRAM?

Currently, Fremont College offers two bachelor’s degree completion program, Business Leadership and Healthcare Management.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO EARN A BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN THE DEGREE COMPLETION PROGRAM?

It takes just 15 months to earn a bachelor’s degree in the degree completion program.

DO I QUALIFY FOR THE DEGREE COMPLETION PROGRAM?

To be admitted into the degree completion program, you must have either completed an associate degree.  If you’re not sure how many credits you have, we can prepare a transcript evaluation to determine if you’re ready to begin the program.

WHERE IS THE FREMONT COLLEGE CAMPUS?

The address is 18000 Studebaker Road, Cerritos, CA 90703.  Fremont is conveniently located close to the Los Angeles 5, 91, 105 and 605 freeways, and is located close to public transportation.

ARE CLASSES AVAILABLE ONLINE?

Students in campus-based programs will take their general education classes online.  Other programs are offered 100% online. Some online courses offer the opportunity to periodically meet face to face with your classmates and instructors on campus during live lectures (which are also webcast) or study sessions.

WHAT PROGRAMS DOES FREMONT COLLEGE OFFER?

Fremont offers the following programs:

·       Bachelor of Arts degree completion in Business Leadership (online)

·       Bachelor of Arts degree completion in Healthcare Management (online)

·       Associate of Arts in Paralegal Studies (on campus)

·       Associate of Science in Digital Marketing (online)

·       Associate of Science in Health Information Technology (online)

·       Associate of Science in Sports & Rehabilitation Therapy (on campus)

·       Diploma in Massage Therapy (on campus)

·       Certificate in Health Administration (on campus or online)

·       Certificate in Web and Mobile Marketing (on campus or online)

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO COMPLETE A PROGRAM OF STUDY?

Bachelor degree completion programs and associate degree programs take just 15 months to complete. The Massage Therapy diploma requires 10 months to complete. And the certificate programs need 7 months to complete.

DOES FREMONT COLLEGE HAVE DORMITORIES?

No, but we can assist students with finding housing near our campus.

DO ONLINE STUDENTS RECEIVE THE SAME SUPPORT AS STUDENTS WHO TAKE COURSES ON CAMPUS?

Yes! Our online instructors and student advisors will be there every step of the way to assist you. You will have the same access to Fremont faculty and staff online as you would on campus. In addition, each online course is delivered through a powerful learning management system with 24 hour technical support. Students have access to virtual advising sessions, online career services, and online student support.

HOW MUCH DOES A DEGREE FROM FREMONT COLLEGE COST?

WHAT IF I NEED HELP PAYING FOR COLLEGE?

Fremont College has several financial assistance programs available for students who need help paying for school. Our financial aid representatives can assist you with applying for grants and student loans to help fund your college education.

DOES FREMONT COLLEGE PROVIDE ASSISTANCE WITH CAREER PLANNING?

We maintain close ties to our alumni, helping them begin their job searches prior to graduation and continuing to provide assistance after they have completed their education.
